June 17, 2015 - Customers Begin Upgrading Modems to New 3G/4G Wireless for Improved Reliability of Cellular Connections. New plug-and-play modems and SIM swaps were done by Water2Save at customer sites throughout California.

February 8, 2014 - Landscape Contractors Sell Sterling-Water2Save Controllers Directly to Their Customers. After which Water2Save adds its wireless cell modem and electronics to monitor and adjust irrigation water according to forecasted and measure wearther.

November 9, 2012 - SDSU Uses CSULA's Approach to Saving Water.  San Diego State University decides to deploy the same Water2Save technology as that deployed by CSULA in order to demonstrate water savings and cost reductions on its City of San Diego utility bills.

October 5, 2012 - Liberty Station Community Association Begins Its Final Phase of Implementing Water2Save Throughout Its Property. Under a utility sponsored program, Liberty Station in San Diego began installation of Water2Save on a portion of its property in 2009 to save money and over the last four years has continued to expand the implementation of Water2Save throughout the Association.

May 16, 2012 - Southern California Edison (SCE) Signs up Water2Save for Its Rosemead Headquarters.  SCE continues with Water2Save's service after a San Gabriel water utility sponsored program ended given the significant savings achieved with potable and reclaimed water and with embedded energy.

January 24, 2011 - Water2Save Presents Savings Program Results to Municipal Water District Board in Los Angeles.  Gary Gelinas, CEO Water2Save, presented water savings performance results to a water district board of directors under a program which targeted commercial shopping centers, a local college campus, an apartment complex, and several homeowner associations.

May 20, 2010 - Sorrento at Porter Ranch Community Signs with Water2Save.   Sorrento in Porter Ranch, a HOA north of Los Angeles, board members voted to install Water2Save property-wide within the community of about 600 single family homes.

April 21, 2010 - Earth Day News: Water2Save Saves CSULA over 27 Million Gallons in 18 Months.   Cal State LA partners with Water2Save and receives $50,000 from LADWP for remarkable water savings.

May 20, 2009 - Water Rationing and Drought Ordinances Render Weather-Based Smart Controllers Ineffective.   New laws that govern when and how much water can be used conflict with watering methods used by weather-based and sensor-based "smart" controllers.

April 27, 2009 - Smart Controller Rulemaking Under Review by the California Energy Commission and EPA WaterSense.   Both the State of California and EPA are looking closely at the use of the Smart Water Application Technologies (SWAT) testing for certification and labeling.

March 10, 2009 - MWD Changes Smart Timer Equipment Rebates, while Performance Based Incentives Become More Active.   The Metropolitan Water District Water Rebate Program has been revised to allocate rebate funds based on the total number of valves for a project, instead of total irrigated acreage.

December 1, 2007 - Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Approves A New Water Savings Peformance Incentive Program.   Property owners who subscribe to the Water2Save water management service (which includes equipment, installation. water management, monitoring, and verification) and who are located in Metropolitan's Southern California service area, may qualify for the large incentive payment tied to actual water savings achieved.
